Family Physicians are feeling the strain of this pandemic, and it can be trying on our mental and physical health. Finding balance during these times can be difficult.  If you find yourself in a downward spiral, here are some resources that might help, including a free physician support line and free online therapy for health care workers.

Practice Enhancement Through Clinically Correct Coding

he SCAFP is excited to offer the Practice Enhancement through Clinically Correct Coding CME series.  These educational sessions, approved for up to 20 Prescribed AAFP CME credits, can serve as an up-to-date resource for billing, coding, and operational business strategies to help you succeed in your practice.

Your colleague and SCAFP member, Dr. Nick Ulmer, a certified professional coder and Fellow with the AAFP. has built sessions tailored to the needs of family physicians to assist in the business of medicine, whether located in the inpatient or outpatient practice setting.  The education covers topics such as basic coding, clinical quality metric attainment, Medicare Wellness completion, and Transition Care Management.  Additionally, opportunities for revenue capture through dermatology coding/billing, telehealth and care management are explained in the sessions.
